Has anyone ever heard of pulling off (RN) nursing school, working and being pregnant? It wasn’t planned but if I really am pregnant i’d have a mid-october (i think) baby, right in the middle of my 1st semester of 3rd year. When we start med-surg clinicals… oh boy.

For medical insurance purposes I cannot drop out of school and to go to school I need a car so I can’t stop working and still pay for either the baby or the car…

Has anyone ever heard of this being done? Is it humanly possible?

I’m smart and get A’s without trying, rarely study but still get the material. (in second year of a 4 year nursing program now). I work 15-20 hours a week and would like to keep that up. I have really flexible working hours and can schedule that around almost anything else, may even be able to bring a baby to work?

I would also probably be a single mom, i doubt my guy right now would stick around. But i have wonderful friends with kids and my parents are always a great help.

Am i being insane or is it humanly possible to pull this off? I’d just like some opinions because I cannot see myself having an abortion, ever.

    I think I want to become a doctor, and I’m pretty sure I will, but I wanted to know more details about it. Like….
    1.What kind of things are you expected to know?

    2I’ve heard it takes 8 years minimun to get you degree, is there time to get married and start family before you graduate? Or is it best to wait?

    3.If you’re a doctor: Was it all worth it?

    4.How hard is it actucally to get into Med-School?

    5.What are the hours like a) once you have your MD and b) as a resident?

    6.Is there any flexability in your schudeul as a doctor? (i.e. vacation time, flexible work hours.)

    7.What type of medical career would you suggest? (i.e. Orthapedics, Pediactris, Cardiology…ect.)

    8.Do doctor’s have time for friends? What about Med-Students?

    9.Are doctors required to do things if it goes against their beliefs?(i.e. abortion)

    10.How much do doctors make a) in residency, b) right out of school and c) potentionally
