Soon I will complete my training as a certified Lab Technition, with a AS. I want to work my way up to becoming a certified Medical Technologist. My question is there any army training programs for this, or any “flexible” distance learning school that will still meet the training requirements to be certified through ASCP.

I know there are no distance programs to be a med technologist because you have to run the lab as part of the training, which you couldn’t do at home. The army, that I don’t know, sorry.
The Army gets their Army Laboratory Science Officers through recruiting mostly and through the ROTC programs. To be Laboratory Science Officer in the Army you need to be an MT certified through ASCP first. They generally use ROTC scholorship programs to meet these needs, in addition to recruiting incentives.
The Army traing program as a 68K will require a 52 week program and they will provide you with transcripts which can be used to obtain some college credit, but would not be enough for an associates degree, much less qualify as a medical technologist.
