Working Better- the 21st Century Challenge

Balancing work and personal lives, whether you are a parent with a young child or a carer for an older relative or both, is a juggling act we are all likely to face at some time during our lives.
Working Better is a new initiative of the Equality and Human Rights Commission aiming to identify and promote innovative new ways of working which help meet the challenges of the 21st century.
As part of our ‘Working Better’ consultation, we spoke to people at big and small businesses to find out how they balance work and personal lives. We talked to both employers and their staff about their personal experiences. Check out this video to hear what they had to say about flexible working.
