I have a certain amount deducted out of each pay period and have access to tax free funds throughout the year to cover various medical expenses including co-pays, prescription drugs, dental work, etc…

i am getting ready to have $5700 worth of dental work done. with the current 2008 irs tax code, is it worthwhile for me to set up a flexible spending account with my employer? it will probably be a one-time expense with little or no follow-up. please advise.

If you used your FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT from work (was was tax free money) can you then submit it for tax deductible purpose….. How would they know one way or another.??
